Six terror suspects held

Spanish police today arrested six suspected members of the outlawed Basque separatist group ETA and seized explosives, submachine-guns and handguns in early morning raids.

The arrests took place in and around the Basque coastal city of San Sebastian between midnight and 8am local time (7am Irish time), the private Cadena SER radio said.
