Deirdre Rachid will reportedly have an fling with her Coronation Street boss Dev Alahan.

The soap is said to be planning an hour-long special for Christmas Day.

Shopkeeper Dev has just got engaged to barmaid Geena Gregory.

But he will cheat on his fiancee after a simmering snog with Deirdre under the mistletoe.

According to reports, Geena will walk out on Dev after he has an argument with her mother.

Deirdre ends up in bed with him when she goes round to help drown his sorrows.
