Four die in US strikes blunder

Four people are reported to have died following another night of air strikes on Afghanistan.

The cities of Kandahar, Kabul and Jalalabad are all believed to have been targeted on the seventh night of military action.

Yesterday, the Pentagon admitted a US bomb, which was meant to hit Kabul airport, missed its target by a mile.

The missile struck a residential area, killing at least four.
