German hostages freed

Left-wing rebels in Colombia have released two German hostages after holding them for almost three months.

Ulrich Kuenzel said he and Reiner Bruchmann were treated well by their kidnappers.

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, (FARC), said in mid-August that it kidnapped Kuenzel, an employee of German aid agency GTZ, his brother Thomas Kuenzel, and Bruchmann, a friend. Thomas Kuenzel escaped in late September.
