FBI issues ‘highest alert’ over new terror attacks

The FBI tonight warned there was a high risk of more terrorist attacks on America within days.

The agency, which is in charge of preventing terrorism in the United States as well as investigating the September 11 attacks, called on local police to be on the ‘‘highest alert’’.
