Anthrax death is no accident says FBI

Authorities in Florida say there's virtually no chance the anthrax death of a British-born journalist was accidental.

They have tested over 600 people for anthrax bacteria and plan further tests today.

The FBI has sealed off the building in Boca Raton where several newspapers including the National Enquirer are based.

Florida Senator Bob Graham said Bob Stevens' death was no accident.

"This didn't just happen by some natural cause," he said

Other experts conclude that there must have been some form of 'human intervention'.

The Centre for Disease Control is now advising tests for anyone who has spent more than an hour at the offices since August 1.

After Mr Stevens died, anthrax bacteria was found in the nose of another employee, 73 year-old Ernesto Blanco.

There are claims a mystery envelope containing powder was sent to the offices.
