'Kidnapped' journalists held by security forces

Pakistani security forces are detaining a group of TV journalists in Peshawar.

Original unconfirmed reports said pro-Taliban demonstrators blindfolded and kidnapped them.

It is now being reported the group was detained for entering an area close to the Afghan border.

Protests in several Pakistani cities have turned violent following the US air attacks on Afghanistan.

Quetta, Karachi and Peshawar have seen pro-Taliban demonstrations.
