Blair addresses Britain on Afghan strike

Speaking in the past hour, British Prime Minister Tony Blair has confirmed that British submarines took part in the first wave of attacks against Afghanistan.

He said a request for the involvement of the missile-firing subs, which are launching Tomahawk Cruise missiles, was made by the Bush administration last Wednesday.
