Fallen heroes could be honoured with special medal

Fallen heroes of the World Trade Centre terror attacks could be awarded a special posthumous medal made from metal salvaged from the ruins, it was reported today.

The firefighters, police officers and ambulance workers who died at the scene of the September 11 strike are likely to be the first recipients of a new Medal of Valour.
