A Russian airliner flying from Tel Aviv to Siberia has crashed into the Black Sea.

A Russian airliner flying from Tel Aviv to Siberia has crashed into the Black Sea.

There were 66 passengers and crew aboard the plane but it is not known if there are any casualties.

The Tu-154 airliner has gone down 114 miles off the Russian coastal city of Adler.

It had been reported that there was a large explosion before the airliner crashed.

Rescue aircraft and ships were immediately dispatched to the area but it is unclear if anybody survived the incident.

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, believes the crash was caused by terrorists.
