Blair pledges to speed up extradition laws

Tony Blair today promised measures to speed up Britain’s extradition procedures as part of a package of emergency legislation following the US terror attacks.

The British Prime Minister said that ministers would bring legislation before the Commons in the next four to six weeks and he urged all parties to give it their support.
