Arafat, Peres seek lasting truce

Another attempt has been made to secure a lasting ceasefire in the Middle East.

At a meeting in Gaza, the Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat and the Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres have re-iterated their commitment to a truce.
