US ' does not believe' that bin Laden is missing
US officials have cast doubt on a claim that bin Laden is missing from his Afghanistan hide-out.
The officials say the Taliban may be trying to elude President George W. Bush’s demands that they hand over bin Laden or face retribution along with the Saudi exile for the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.
