British police investigate fire death
British police believe a fire which killed a man in Glasgow was arson.
The man's body was discovered in a flat in Partick.
Police are treating the fire and death as suspicious.
Strathclyde police said the body of a man in his 60s was found by firefighters.
A second man in his 60s was taken to hospital after suffering from slight smoke inhalation. He was later released.
Detective Inspector George Mitchell, who is heading the inquiry, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who was in the Laurel Street area prior to the fire service attending and may have witnessed person or persons hanging around outside the house acting suspiciously."
Police are preparing a report on the incident for the procurator fiscal.
