Bin Laden 'contacted Iraq before attacks'

Terrorist leader Osama bin Laden was in contact with the Iraqi Government just days before the US terror strikes, it has been claimed.

Intelligence officials said the contacts, detected before the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon, were ‘‘the basis for signs of state sponsorship’’.
