Nauru prepares for second wave of asylum seekers
Migration officials boarded an Australian navy ship off Nauru today to prepare another group of refugees for transfer to a makeshift camp on the tiny Pacific island state.
International Office of Migration (IOM) regional representative Mark Getchell said about 100 refugees on board the HMAS Manoora would come ashore today, following an initial group of 100 transferred yesterday after three weeks at sea.
