EU justice ministers meet in Brussels

European justice ministers will meet in Brussels later today to discuss new legislation aimed at coping with the threat from terrorism.

The ministers are expected to endorse an EU-wide arrest warrant system, which would effectively eliminate the need for extradition procedures.
