Blair flies in for diplomatic mission

Prime Minister Tony Blair tonight flew into Berlin to start a whirlwind round of shuttle diplomacy in the wake of the terrorist attacks against America.

He was due to have private talks, followed by dinner, with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder at the start of a hectic 60-hour mission.
