Pakistan yields airspace to American troops

The authorities in Pakistan have given the go ahead for American troops to use its airspace to mount possible air strikes against Pakistan’s neighbouring country, Afghanistan.

The move comes as the world waits to learn how America will hit back over Tuesday’s terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.
