Israel kills three Palestinians in Jenin incursion
Israeli tanks and bulldozers have invaded the West Bank town of Jenin for the second time in two days, destroying the remainder of a police compound they attacked yesterday.
Palestinians said the tanks shelled houses while troops fired machine guns, killing three people. Nine others were wounded during the incursion.
The Israeli military said the operation was aimed at "disrupting terror activity in this area".
Israel also said it attacked Palestinian outposts in Qalqilya and Salfit in the central West Bank.
