A man has succeeded in crossing the Atlantic in a kayak for the first time in history.

Former SAS man Peter Bray from South Wales, celebrated with a pint of Guinness when he landed on the coast of Co Mayo.

It took him 75 days to make the crossing, during which time he lost three stone in weight.
