Gladiator star buys home in Tuscany

Gladiator star Russell Crowe has paid £1m to become the latest star to buy a home in Tuscany.

Italian newspapers said the Oscar-winning actor bought a converted farmhouse near Arezzo during a secret visit last month.

According to newspaper La Nazione, a woman fainted when she answered her doorbell and found the New Zealand heartthrob standing there.
