British farmers despair at latest FMD outbreak

British farmers say they are at their wits’ end after new restrictions were imposed to curb the latest outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.

The outbreak, centred mainly around Northumberland, now totals 13 new cases after two cases were discovered overnight.
