NATO says Macedonia mission is on target

NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson will arrive in Macedonia today to inspect the weapons-collecting mission.

NATO says the mission is on target as forces continue to gather arms from ethnic Albanian guerrillas, despite attempts to blockade the compulsory withdrawal of troops from front line areas.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway into the killing of a British NATO soldier, who died after a block of concrete was thrown through the windscreen of his vehicle.
