50 killed in Angolan missile attack
At least 50 people, including several children, have been killed in a missile attack on a passenger bus in Angola, according to reports today.
The attack happened on Friday on a highway near the city of Malanje in the north-east of the country.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the finger of blame immediately pointed towards bandits or the UNITA rebels.
Earlier this month, UNITA massacred about 250 people in an ambush on a train. The authorities claimed the victims were refugees fleeing the country’s civil war, but the rebels said they were Government soldiers.
