The Beano to tackle Harry Potter adventure

Harry Potter's adventures are to be turned into a comic book story.

The creators of the Beano are incorporating him into a cartoon.

The special edition will go on sale in November when Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone hits UK cinemas.

The Beano's editor Euan Kerr told said: "We're really excited about it.

"The story will be based on Dennis The Menace and The Bash Street Kids.

"They go and see the film and, inspired by it, have their own quidditch match and get up to the usual mischief."
