Fred West interviews to be broadcast

Serial killer Fred West's police interviews are to be broadcast for the first time after the Gloucestershire constabulary failed in their bid to have them banned.

Lord Goldsmith, the Attorney General, has dismissed a request by the force to prevent the taped interviews being included in a Channel 5 documentary due to be shown in the autumn.
