15 killed as Tamil Tigers attack Sri Lankan troops

Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tiger rebels have killed at least seven Government soldiers in attacks on two military camps in the north-east of the country today.

Eight rebels were also killed in the assaults as troops repelled their attempts to overrun the bases.
