Missing girl's uncle in court
The uncle of missing British schoolgirl Danielle Jones has appeared in court accused of a series of sex and drugs offences.
Stuart Campbell, 43, a builder, of Meadow Road, Grays, Essex, was remanded in custody by a magistrate at Harlow, Essex.
His next scheduled appearance is at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Campbell, who is married, gave no indications of pleas and nodded to confirm his personal details during a 45-minute court hearing.
He faces seven charges:
* That between January 2000 and June 2001 he made indecent photographs of a child in Grays.
* Between January 1979 and December 1981 he took an indecent photograph of a child in Tilbury.
* Between January 1981 and December 1981 he assaulted and unlawfully and injuriously imprisoned a girl against her will in Tilbury.
* In June 1987 he indecently assaulted a girl in East Tilbury.
* In January 1981 he indecently assaulted a girl in Grays.
* In June 2001 this year he was in possession of 916mg of amphetamine - a class B drug.
* In June 2001 he was in possession of 92 Pemoline tablets and 7.73g fragments of Pemoline tablets.
Pemoline is a class C drug - a banned stimulant.
Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
