Ukraine mine-blast death toll rises to 22
The death toll of the mine accident in the Ukraine has risen to 22.
Dozens of miners remain missing following the methane gas and coal dust explosion.
The morning blast at the Zasiadko mine in the Donetsk region was the largest coal industry accident this year.
The regional Work Safety Department said more than 250 miners were working underground at the time of the explosion.
Some 155 miners were safely brought to surface, including six who were hospitalized with burns.
Four of the hospitalized workers were in grave condition, the department said.
The fate of at least 53 miners remains unknown.
