Chantal will avoid Jamaica

Tropical Storm Chantal appears to be bypassing Jamaica, moving instead toward Mexico's Yucatan peninsula.

The storm has left two dead in Trinidad.

With maximum wind gusts of up to 65 mph, a mass of dark clouds is moving toward the Yucatan at about 12 mph.

A hurricane watch is in place for the Cayman Islands, and a tropical storm warning remains in place in Jamaica, Belize, and the Yucatan peninsula.
