Palace denies 'Queen to let Charles marry' report

St James’s Palace today denied a report in the Spectator magazine that the Queen has ‘‘grudgingly’’ agreed to the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles.

The article, quoting an unnamed ‘‘well-informed Palace observer’’, said she has agreed to let them wed after her Golden Jubilee next year.
