Speculation grows that Beckers will re-marry

Speculation is growing in Germany that Boris Becker may re-marry his ex-wife Barbara.

Speculation is growing in Germany that Boris Becker may re-marry his ex-wife Barbara.

The couple have been spending more and more time together, just six months after their divorce which cost Boris around £11m.

Mrs Becker's US lawyer says a re-marriage can't be ruled out, and that Boris and Barbara are "open to it."

The pair have booked adjoining suites at a hotel in Graz, Austria, where Boris is playing in a veterans' tournament, according to reports.

Reports claim Mrs Becker's lawyer, Samuel Burstyn, said the pair had made the "first positive steps in the right direction towards a new relationship."

He added: "They're open to it. Should they decide on a re-marriage, I would draw up a pre-nuptial contract to avoid any future disputes."

The holiday in Graz will be the third the Beckers have taken together this year.

The couple married in December 1993, but they were divorced after Becker got a Russian model pregnant during a "five second" encounter in the broom cupboard of a London hotel.
