Malaysian police 'find girl locked in house'
Malaysian police have arrested a British man after raiding his home and finding a 17-year-old girl locked in a room.
Police Chief Sidin Abdul Karim says officers found several pornographic video compact discs at the house on Labuan island.
Such disks are illegal in the country.
Investigations are continuing to determine whether the girl was sexually abused, Mr Sidin said.
Police identified the suspect as Ian Daniel Miller, 53.
Mr Sidin said he was arrested five years ago on suspicion of involvement in the killings of two Filipinos.
He was freed due to insufficient evidence.
Miller claims to be a financial consultant and has been living in Labuan, Malaysia's international offshore financial centre off Borneo island, for nearly 10 years.
