Bayer says recalled drug may have caused 52 deaths

The German pharmaceutical giant, Bayer, today said its recalled anti-cholesterol drug may be linked to 52 deaths.

Bayer say the deaths occurred following treatment with Baycol's active ingredient, cerivastatin.
