Hundreds of refugees missing after Angolan ambush

The authorities in Angola are continuing their efforts to trace hundreds of refugees who are missing since the train they were travelling in was ambushed by gunmen.

At least 91 people died when the train hit and landmine and burst into flames on Friday.

As passengers attempted to escape they were raked with gunfire.

Around 500 refugees fleeing the country's civil war were on the train, but hundreds of them are still unaccounted for.

It is not known if they are hiding in the bush, are being held captive or if their bodies are lying in the burnt-out wreckage of the train.
