Bomb blast in school van kills seven

A powerful time bomb ripped through a school van in the eastern Punjab province in Pakistan today, killing at least seven people, including two children, and wounding several others, police said.

The bomb exploded when the van was parked outside a private school in Gujrat, 78 miles north of Lahore, the capital of Punjab, Mohammed Riaz, senior superintendent of police said.
