Bomb police release e-fit

Detectives hunting those responsible for the Ealing bomb have released an e-fit of a man believed to have bought the car used in the attack.

The man paid £425 in cash for the grey Saab 9000 turbo at a car dealership in Ilford, east London, on July 19.

It was later packed with explosives and detonated on Ealing Broadway in west London.

Police are staging a reconstruction of the events leading to the car bomb blast exactly one week after it happened.

The bomb exploded an hour after a grey Saab 9000 saloon car was left on the Broadway, at 20 seconds past midnight, and detectives hope to trigger the memories of anyone who saw it in the intervening hour or on its route.
