Israel fires missiles at Rafah police HQ

Israeli helicopters have fired rockets at Palestinian police headquarters in Rafah in the Gaza Strip as the violence in the Middle East spirals ever-closer to all-out war.

The Israeli military said this morning's offensive followed 26 mortar attacks on nearby Jewish settlements and Israeli army outposts.
