100 in clashes after soccer match
More than 100 football fans were involved in clashes on Saturday following the Aberdeen versus Rangers football match.
Grampian Police said 12 people were arrested in Aberdeen after rival supporters confronted each other on the city's beach esplanade following the game, which the visiting Glasgow side won 3-0.
Approximately 40 police officers were involved in bringing the incident under control.
A police spokesman said the 12 people, who were detained in connection with incidents including drunkenness and breach of the peace, were later released.
Inquiries are ongoing to identify others involved in the clashes, the spokesman added.
