The Italian Government is to investigate allegations of police brutality against hundreds of anti-capitalist protestors in Genoa last weekend.

Some British demonstrators have threatened to sue after officers in full riot gear raided the premises where they were staying in the Italian city and allegedly began assaulting people indiscriminately.
