Three hurt in Barcelona cashpoint blast

An explosion shattered windows and destroyed a cashpoint machine at a bank in downtown Barcelona early today, slightly injuring three people, the Interior Ministry said.

Officials said they did not immediately know who was behind the explosion at a branch of the Caixa bank, one of Catalonia’s largest.
