Kyoto deal welcomed by environment groups

The Kyoto Protocol deal has been welcomed by Friends of the Earth and the World Wildlife Fund.

Both campaign groups have backed the deal, despite Japan winning an agreement which waters down the action which countries breaking the accords may face.
