Archer 'facing immediate suicide watch'

Jeffrey Archer will be placed on immediate suicide watch as he adjusts to life inside a high-security prison, it was predicted tonight.

Mark Leech, chief executive of ex-offenders’ charity Unlock, said he believed Archer would be housed in Belmarsh prison’s hospital wing for the first two weeks of his sentence and placed on immediate suicide watch.
