Ten French cities adopt summer curfews for children
Ten French cities, including the Riviera resort of Nice, have adopted summer curfews for children to try to protect minors and cut back on crime.
Nice’s curfew, which went into effect today, affects children under 13 who are discovered on the streets between 10 pm and 6 am. The curfew applies to several neighbourhoods and beaches on the Mediterranean shore and will remain in place until September 30.
