Pringles crisps recalled from Japan over GM fears

Hundreds of thousands of cans of Pringles crisps are being withdrawn in Japan after some were found to contain banned genetically modified potatoes.

The gene-altered NewLeaf Plus and NewLeaf Y potatoes are approved for consumption in the United States but not in Japan.
