30 injured in Austria train crash

About 30 people were injured, six of them seriously, when two trains collided head-on near Purkersdorf, west of Vienna, Red Cross officials said last night.

The accident occurred after one of the train drivers overlooked a stop signal, causing the crash, the officials said.
