Hamas electronics expert blown up

A suspected Islamic militant was killed today when a car parked outside his West Bank electronics shop exploded.

Fawaz Badran, 27, was a member of the military wing of Hamas, an Islamic militant group that has carried out a series of suicide bombings in Israel in recent months.

Badran was returning to his shop in Tulkarem after Friday prayers and lunch, and was about to open the door when the car exploded, the officials said.
