Missing intern told friend she was pregnant

Missing Washington intern Chandra Levy told a friend she was pregnant with congressman Gary Condit’s child when she disappeared, it was reported today.

The 24-year-old intern had been having an affair with 53-year-old Condit, a married politician from California, until she was last seen on April 30 at a gym in the American capital, just before she was due to fly home to graduate from university.
