FBI spy faces life in prison

An FBI agent who spied for Moscow today saved his life and his pension by pleading guilty to selling his country’s secrets.

Robert Hanssen, a father-of-six, would have faced the death penalty if he had continued to plead not guilty but today appeared in court to change his plea after months of negotiations with prosecutors.
